First, Elvis Presley will be adjusting for Dr. Jay on Friday, October 30th. Even if we're totally booked, you're welcome to come in that day with your little ones to trick or treat for some organic Yumme Earth candy. If you're one of the lucky ones to secure one of the 50 appointment slots for Elvis Presley, you can look forward to having The King correct your subluxations.
Second, we will be closed the day after Thanksgiving, Friday November 27.
I thought we would highlight a local "Hidden Gem" that our patient Randy Snow is president of. It's the New England Wireless and Steam Museum on Frenchtown Road in East Greenwich. In addition to this video, he filmed a virtual narrated tour. Visit their website at https://newsm.org/and consider
a donation to keep it going strong.
Did you know that when you're kind to other people, it actually boosts your immune response and can help you fight off viruses? Yup and the research is right
Although I am not against vaccinations, and I support any decision you make for you and your child, I am believe in freedom of choice. Before you allow any vaccination for yourself or your child, read the entire package insert for the vaccination including the ingredients and the side effects. If you choose to file for an exemption for your child, here is where you can find the forms to do so... https://health.ri.gov/forms/exemption/ReligiousImmunizationExemptionCertificateForSchools.pdf
Many of you know that I'm a big fan of Qi Gong. Qigong, qi gong, chi kung, or chi gung is a millenia-old system of coordinated body-posture and movement, breathing, and meditation used for the purposes of health, spirituality, and martial-arts training. I first started learning about Qi Gong from my acupuncturist, Dr. Hanna Redd who is just two doors down from our office. This video is the one I enjoy the most. I dare you not to be relaxed, completely at peace, and energized at the same time after doing this 20 minute routine.
This is a video of one of the people that shaped the person that I am. His name is Leo Buscaglia. He was known as the Doctor Of LOVE. This is a lecture he did called The Art of Being Fully Human. It's timeless and I just felt that this would be a good time to share this. It will raise your spirits and fill you with the love he emanated. I always hoped that I would be like him when I 'grew up'. I hope I make as big a difference in this world as he did. I am so grateful that I heard this message early in my life. I truly hope it's as profound to you as it was to me.
And now may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
In Health and Faith,
Dr. Jay, Kathy, Roberta, Elli and Lori
